Bitterroot Valley is the home of the Bitterroot River which runs south from Missoula for about 60 miles.... a long river. It pretty much runs along the towns that make up the area: Lolo, Stevensville, Corvalis, Hamilton, Darby....
This area was the site of Lewis and Clark realizing that they had to cross a mountain in order to find a "water route" to the mouth of the Columbia River. They ultimately crossed a what is now called Lolo Pass.
After camping for almost 2 weeks, we decided to get into a B&B in Corvalis, get "good" showers, do laundry, access a steady Wifi signal, etc. And for Alicia, to get some work done. This was to be a little different from camping.
