The White House

We took a walk past the White House and noted the frenzy of people lined up taking photos. It looked like this ...

 

They took this photo.. and I wondered, why the heck can't they get the grass green, don't they water it?

I thought this standard photo op was rather boring ... so ...

this is what I took ...

But the poor guy on the horse, Stonewall Jackson, was being pooped on (note real live pigeon on head)

 

Then we went up on the rooftop deck of the Hotel Washington for a decadent ( = expensive) lunch, and took another "different" image ... top down ... this is of the White House ... from above ...
